Also during our London trip in March of 2012, we saw the legendary clocktower Big Ben, one of my favorite landmark buildings.
I used to joke that Big Ben was my architectural boyfriend. It was a bit, but now it seems kinda weird.

Fun fact: Boadicea, more commonly known as Boudicca, was a queen of the ancient British Iceni tribe who led an unsuccessful revolt against the Roman Empire around 60/61 AD after suffering personal injustices at the hands of the Roman governor. She is celebrated as a British national heroine for her fierce, though ultimately defeated, fight for independence and justice.
In my Buffy fanfic, I wrote that she was a Slayer.
