Ever since middle school, when I first read Eyes of the Dragon and The Stand, I have had an admiration and fascination with Stephen King. As an author, he inspired me to tell stories. As a person, he challenged me to think about humanity and our place within the universe. Stephen King taught me to explore the unknown mysteries of this existence, to see beyond the commonplace, and to dream of what could be.
Also, he terrified the crap out of me.
So on our Epic New England Road Trip, a stop at the author’s old house in Bangor realized a lifelong dream.
